Cobra to Lüttich: From Avranches to Mortain” is a living history event organised by the 2nd Armored in Europe association in South Manche, from 29 July to 9 August 2024, in the framework of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Normandy.
This event will bring together several hundred American and German like-minded re-enactors with the common goal of re-creating the breakthrough of Avranches and the German counter-attack at Mortain.
The ambition is to organise the largest gathering of re-enactors and vehicles in order to offer a unique experience, but also a living and itinerant show in the Agglomeration Community Mont-Saint-Michel – Normandy.
